GRE will be rolling out new approaches for helping academics identify and seek research enterprise funding. This will focus on a proactive engagement with GRE staff and academics.

Funders have very stringent requirements what our research and enterprise endeavours show ‘impact’. This is often poorly understood.
What style of workshops or event would you find most useful to disseminate guidance on impact and how this is evidenced?
RETI currently provide training in statistics and the portal has guidance on presentation skills.
Are there any other generic, research related skills training that is required, for example key software, techniques and methodologies and the social media/website realm?
The launch event has demonstrated the breadth and depth of research and enterprise activity. What sort of events are desired to further promote awareness, networking and collaborative opportunities, especially cross faculty ?
