It is becoming more and more pressing to train researchers in Bayesian analysis, as indicated by recent developments regarding current frequentist approaches (and evident by workshops organised at the last annual British Psychological Society conference as well as a recent event at the Royal Society devoted to replicability). Staff should be given a chance to receive an introduction to Bayesian analysis and interpretation, as this will definitely become part of every research and peer-review process in the near future.

I completely agree. I have been hearing talk about Bayesian analysis frequently at recent conferences and events. I do not think this should be limited to staff. There is a lack of training available to PGRs in advanced statistical analysis. This would be a great opportunity for both staff and PGRs to engage in this.
